Low-cost construction interlocking soil cement blocks & bricks habitech building system

  1. *Low-cost innovative building* I must be honest when I say
that I *love* to read about innovative/non-traditional
building methods. In our world we have folks who can't
afford the traditional $300K dollar homes. In kind it is
encouraging and refreshing to know that these kinds of
solutions *do* exist. Can't wait for the chance to get
started with a project like this. Watch "Low cost
Construction Housing | Interlocking Blocks Building System
projects" on YouTube *Edit:* 08/23/11 - Now we can
actually *see* a video preview thanks to an edit here on
    Google TV. :)

  3. Look like an ancient system used on stone hedges and roman
    pillars. It works!
  4. But over and over, we see "systems" in YouTube for building
all sorts of things, stoves that cook for pennies,.
watering systems, etc., and it's NEVER AVAILABLE for
Americans, it seems. Why is that? Is it possible we still
have people around who are blind to the utter poverty that
exists in America? Was your TV broken during coverage of
Hurricane Katrina? Floods, fires and tornadoes have lots of
American victims. Why are these systems not available to
    help the victims recover?
  5. There are people in America who don't have houses!!!! Those
people are lucky. They don't have mortgage to pay. I don't
think I'll ever have my own home.
  6. a good idea!! but could somebody build a brick with waste
plastic for reinforcements or as inserts to blocks so we
can make waste plastics put to good use. It would make it
    lighter and earthfriendly
  7. it is not available here because the bankers don't make
money, taxes and off human labor and dirt unless there is
debt involved. the houses are mostly man made fluff and
stuff of more debt and human labor and taxes and
interest.. it is called share cropping. :P.

  10. give that man a cigar.if this had been from germany he would
    be hailed a genius
  11. NO sound!
  12. The machine seems to be inexpensive !!!!! amazing.
  13. pls send me catalog n quotation at abhikush07@gmail.com
    Thanks
  14. But will it blend?
  15. Lego for adults?
  16. Another simple one
  17. Quake friendly bricks
  18. No... he didn't invent this method. It's old... very old.
Used by, well, pretty much every culture to some extent.
Were they always interlocking? No, not typically, but some
were. This is not something new to human history. Plus,
adding "cement" isn't gonna do much stabilizing because
you're adding in too dry. The only thing special about
cement is the lime aka calcium carbonate, which requires a
decent about of moisture to do any good. But since the
bricks are compressed, they don't need any "stabilizers"
such as lime. Come to think of it, there isn't any other
stabilizer known to man that they would use other than
lime. There's a 175 foot mud brick tower that's been
sitting in Yemen for other a thousand years, the bricks are
not made with any lime, nor is there any steel rebar in the
    tower.
  19. can you tell me about formula to create it? I'm come from
School of architecture at Pannasastra university, I want to
know about it clearly and wanna reasearch it..
  20. Ramiro, your adress is wrong and email cant go. Leave
    another email address.
  21. @ElGatoLoco698 you are right crazy cat
  22. hi i am living in the Philippines and want to create work

  23. in a word! brilliant!
  24. very cool! could you tell us how much cement it takes per
volume of compressed soil? in other words, how expensive is
the cement to make the house
  25. legos
